Make sure you can keep the routine up for a few minutes as his heroic shield and high hp prolong the fight.Ģ8. Duriel: the ultimate kite, Spellbind & Barrage boss. Take cover behind pillars to dissipate her black bolts and make sure to dodge her frozen sphere.Ģ7.
Andariel: keep her under Spellbind and kite with Barrage. Cold Edyrem: same as above but more damaging and more hp.Ģ6. Offscreen in this fashion until he is dead.Ģ5. Then cast Phalanxes which will knock him back to the opposite side of the arena. Keep your distance from the boss so he does not spam his damaging lightning bolts. Lightning Edyrem: as you enter run to the opposite side of the room, in the top right corner. As you enter run up to him and instantly Spellbind. Fire edyrem: spawn some elementals to tank him. If you get too low go back to previous arena to regen.Ģ3. Spam phalanx on his head from a distance. Arihan: eat an apple and chug pots on cooldown. The souls will kill him for you, just keep your distance and keep refreshing it.Ģ2. Summon many elementals that will tank him, spellbind him and kill from a distance with Phalanx.Ģ1. Obsidian Lord: this guy is faster than a racing car. Gargoyle statue: same strat as the death projector above, but it requires 2-3 Phalanxes instead of one.ġ8. Go back through the pad and wait a few seconds during which it will die.ġ4. Death projector: as you enter the teleport pad target it and quickly cast Phalanx. Spire: run to the middle of the room, spam Barrage. Imp: make honorific gloves with reflected damage, wait for imp to kill itself.ġ0. I guess I am asking whether anyone has experience with Median, and for those who don´t, whether good old D2 LoD still has something to offer after all these years. Too many AoE skills that cover the entire screen with effects, insane speeds, tons of junk on the floor. On the other hand, I´ve been watching Zero´s "lets play" of Median lately, and it sure sounds like fun, new items, more depth, more challenges, but something that is bothering me is that everything is a bit over the top. On one hand, playing only SP HC LOD sounds like a lot of fun, certainly after not having played in ages, even if back in the day I have pretty much done it all before, and wouldn´t really do anything new. What I really need some advice on, is on what to play?

This is probably my 100th "ghost from the past" thread here over the last 13 years, so I will drop the formalities, and go straight to the pointĪfter having been greatly dissapointed by D3, mildly dissapointed by PoE and still waiting on the alpha of Grim Dawn, I was thinking og giving my old and faithfull mistress, Diablo 2, another spin.
